Pre-Installation Project

The Rotary Club of Asaba Metropolitan, District 9141 began the 2026-2027 Rotary year with an impactful service project at the Nigeria Police Force, A Division, Asaba this morning.

The project, carried out under the Rotary International theme "CREATE LASTING IMPACT", was aimed at promoting Community Development and Peace Building& Conflict Resolution.

Members of the club, led by the President, were received by the Area Commander who represented the Commissioner of Police and the Divisional Police Officer of A - division. The club donated
3 Standard Traffic Booths, Reflective Jackets to the Traffic Officers of the NPF and also did a Complete Overhauling of 2 Office Rooms @ A Division NPF and reiterated Rotary’s commitment to serving the community and supporting those who serve us.

Speaking during the project, the Club President Rtn Mike Mbagwu Phf stated that the choice of Nigeria Police Force A Division reflects the club’s focus on peacebuilding and community partnership.
The event rounded off with the presentation of a distinguished community service award to the DPO of A - Division, CSP Emeka Henry Iheanacho. This was in recognition of his outstanding leadership and invaluable contributions to the peace and safety of Asaba metropolis and beyond.

The Public Image Chair, Rtn. Ifeoma Adejumo, noted that this is the first of many projects lined up for the year, culminating in the Club’s *Installation Ceremony on 11th July 2026.
